Our Scripture reading today is Philippians 2:12-13.
Verse 13, "For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure."
As a follow up to last night's Bible study, God had this verse in my Bible reading this morning. God does not stop working in us in when we get saved. It really has just begun. There is a transformation of our will which leads to changing what we do. God's will and way are where we need to live our lives on a daily basis.
The source of our spiritual strength is found in the Holy Spirit. He is our comforter and guide to all truth. He is at work even when we cannot see it. “Grace all-sufficient dwells in you, believer. There is a living well within you springing up; use the bucket, then; keep on drawing; you will never exhaust it; there is a living source within.” (Spurgeon)
Philippians 1:6, "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:"
Have a good day!
