Our Scripture reading today is Psalm 16:6, "The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage."

David was the youngest of Jesse's sons and he found his true inheritance in the things of God.  We might even say that God was David's inheritance.  Knowing God was with him brought peace and satisfaction.  God also made it clear to the priests that He was enough.  Numbers 18:20, "And the LORD spake unto Aaron, Thou shalt have no inheritance in their land, neither shalt thou have any part among them: I am thy part and thine inheritance among the children of Israel."

Is God enough in our lives or are we looking more for someone or something else?  Who He is and what He has for us is our goodly heritage.
