Our Scripture reading today is 2 Corinthians 6:17-18, "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty."
As children of God, we have a responsibility to live apart from the world. It is vital that we are separated from the world and to Christ. As Paul wrote to the Corinthians, we are children of God. Children of God are to live like their Father. 1 Peter 1:16, "Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy." There should be a resemblance of our Father in us.
Do we look and act more like our new Father or the old one?
