Our Scripture reading today is Psalm 55:17, "Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice."

It matters not what time of day we pray, we are promised that God is available and He will hear our voice.  The Jewish day started in the evening so that is more than likely why the order is the way that it is in this verse.
Since God is available at any time during the day, it is important that we have a time for prayer and that we are willing to pray at any time.  There isn't a day when we don't need our heavenly Father.  David's confidence in God was based upon his complete dependence on God. Where could he or we go but to the LORD?
