Our Scripture reading today is Ephesians 5:14-18.
Verse 17, "Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is."
At first glance this seems like an almost impossible task. How are feeble men and women like us supposed to understand the will of God? If we think about it with earthly wisdom, it will be almost impossible. However, we have a resource that is eternal that will give us Heavenly wisdom to understand the will of God. I am sure you know by now that I am referring to the Word of God...the Bible...God's Holy Word. This is the main resource we have been given to know and understand the will of God. The more we read God's Word and are filled with God's Spirit (verse 18), the more we will be filled with wisdom beyond our years. Keep running to the Word of God every day with an open heart and mind asking God to give you the wisdom to know and follow His will.
