Good LORD'S Day Morning,
Our Scripture reading today is 1 Thessalonians 5:18, "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."
What is the will of God for my life? Does God have a will for me? Our verse for today points out one area in which is clearly the revealed will of God. We are to give God thanks in every thing. This is not an option for the disciple of Jesus Christ. God is worthy. God is faithful. God is holy. Give Him thanks in the sunshine. Give Him thanks in the rain. Is it a stormy time in your life? Give Him thanks. His loving hands are doing something in our lives that we might not be able to see. It will be revealed either in this life or the one to come. Bringing Him glory is our goal! Give Him thanks in every thing.
