Our Scripture reading today is Luke 20:19-20.
Verse 20, "And they watched him, and sent forth spies, which should feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of his words, that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor."
There was a group of fake converts that were really trying to do everything they could to catch Jesus saying something incriminating. They had been sent by the religious elite of the day who were not thrilled with the message of the Messiah.
Satan will use any means possible to take away from the Gospel. He will use fake converts today just like he did in Jesus day. Satan is definitely watching any church or believer that is teaching and preaching the Word of God. We must stay faithful, sober, and vigilant!!
