Our Scripture reading today is Luke 16:25-26.

Verse 25, "But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted and thou art tormented."
The good that the rich man had was only temporal as well as the evil that Lazarus experienced.  We know that everything about this lifetime is temporal.  There is a day of reckoning coming for the unjust and the just.  The unjust and the just make up all the people who are alive today.  As in the days of Lazarus and the rich man, the just will be comforted when they die and the unjust will be tormented.
After we die, we leave the temporal and enter the eternal.  All decisions regarding Jesus Christ and following God's will and plan are complete.  It is impossible once we die to ask for a do over.  Are you ready to leave the temporal and enter the eternal?  If you died today, are you 100% sure you would enter the presence of the Lord?  This decision should be considered with urgency.  Satan is more than willing for you to keep putting it off.  Do you know a family member that is not ready for eternity?  Take time today to forward this message to them.  Pray that God's Spirit will bring them to a place of decision for Jesus Christ today.
