Sow Bountifully

Our Scripture reading today is 2 Corinthians 9:6-8.

Verse 6, "But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully."

We can all relate to the principles of sowing and reaping.  I remember hearing years ago several of these principles that can also be attributed to our giving.  

Here are a few:

1. We reap more than we sow.

2. We reap in proportion to how much we have sown.
3. We reap after we sow.

If we want to receive bountiful blessings from the Lord, we are the ones who are responsible for activating those blessings.  Unfortunately, many times we are waiting on the Lord to bless us and then we will sow.  God has already blessed us over and over again.  Psalm 68:19, "Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits even the God of our salvation. Selah."
