Our Scripture reading today is Matthew 25:35-40.
Verse 40, "And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me."
The Lord Jesus is teaching us an important lesson that we should not forget to serve the least likely to be served. It is always easier to serve those who will reciprocate the service or blessing. May God lead us to people that we will serve regardless of whether or not anything is returned to us. This type of service, we are told, is being done more for the Lord than the individual. He will bless the kindness we extend to others in need.
