Our Scripture reading today is Luke 16:3-4.
Verse 4, "I am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses."
The unfaithful steward shows some wisdom when he decides to put forth a plan to make things right with his master. He still had some resolve in spite of how he had used his master's goods. There was a desire in him to see if he could make things right and avoid being tossed out and left to begging for his daily needs.
It could be that you are in this same situation today. The exact details are not the same, but there has been some unfaithfulness on your part with what God has given you. There is no better time than today to start changing the way you are stewarding. Now is the time to ask for forgiveness. Now is the time to turn from your unfaithful ways. Now is the time to get serious about living your one life for His glory! Be resolved today to be a faithful steward!
