Our Scripture reading today is Psalm 21:1-2.
Verse 1, "The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!"
One of the differences that the LORD makes in our lives is in our rejoicing. We can and should rejoice that we are saved and heaven is our eternal home. The LORD is with us and will not forsake us. There are many more benefits that come along with our salvation. We also rejoice in the strength the LORD provides us to make it through each day. There are times of weakness that we experience. His strength is perfected in these times.
Philippians 4:4, "Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, rejoice."
