Our Scripture reading today is 1 Samuel 3:10, "And the LORD came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth."
It is very important that we are able to hear what the LORD is saying to us. This message could be from our daily time in the Word of God or during any part of a church service. There is no doubt that God is speaking, but can we hear what He is trying to tell us? A spiritual hearing problem can be caused by not wanting to hear. Another hearing problem will come as a result of being too close to the things of this world. They are drowning out anything God is trying to tell us.
We must keep all channels clear so we can be clearly led by God's Spirit through His Word to accomplish His daily will for our lives.
