Our Scripture reading today is Matthew 21:22, "And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive."
The emphasis of prayer in one's life cannot be overemphasized. If there is something in the Christian life that we need more of it is believing prayer. I just had this discussion with someone yesterday and now this verse reminds me once again of the great need in my life of prayer. Prayer allows us to enter into the throne room of Heaven. Prayer allows us to speak with and listen to the creator God. There are many facets to prayer that cannot be covered in a short devotional. The admonition for today is pray believing. Pray! Pray! Pray!
