Our Scripture reading today is Psalm 145:3, "Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable."
David makes it clear Who is to be praised and why. It is impossible to find anyone or anything that can be compared to the LORD. Isaiah 40:18, "To whom then will ye liken God? or what likeness will ye compare unto him?" He is beyond compare.
We have an opportunity every day to praise the LORD with our words and our ways. What we say and do should bring honour and glory to the One Who loves us unconditionally. Our praise of His greatness comes out of the fact that He has given us everything. 1 Timothy 6:17, "Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;"
