Our Scripture reading today is Psalm 100:1-3.
Verse 3, "Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture."
How easy it is to forget that who we are and what we have is all because of almighty God. He not only created us, He sustains us. He not only redeemed us, He supplies our daily need. God does not need us, but we surely do need Him! Every place the sole of our foot carries us belongs to our God. Psalm 95:7, "For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,"
It still amazes me that a holy and all powerful God would want to have a relationship with me. There isn’t anything holy or powerful about me, and yet He loves me so much that He provided the only Way back to Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. God did the same for everyone. He wants you and your family to be saved and bound for an eternity in Heaven. As we meditate on these truths, it should cause us to offer our God more praise and worship. Psalm 100:4, "Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name."
Praise Him today!
