Our Scripture reading today is 2 Corinthians 5:19-21.
Verse 21, "For he hath made him to be sin for us..."
Our Heavenly Father gave His sinless Son to be the sacrifice for the sins of whole world. Jesus Christ was not made a sinner, but He became our sin-offering. This was a righteous act of love. He was qualified to be our sacrifice because He "knew no sin." We deserved to pay the penalty, but God's mercy kept us from the wages of our sin. The penalty of sin (death in hell) was paid in full at the cross! Galatians 3:13, "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us:"
