Good Morning,

Our Scripture reading today is Hebrews 12:2, "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."

Where is Jesus Christ today?  Is he in my heart?  We learn from our verse this morning that when we get saved, we are not asking Jesus into our heart.  We are receiving God's gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ.  The Holy Spirit enters our life as soon as we call on the name of the Lord.

Jesus Christ is seated at the right hand of His Father.  He is interceding on our behalf.  Romans 8:34, "Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us."  This is such an encouragement to meditate on as we live our daily lives.  Praise the LORD!
