Our Scripture reading today is 1 Peter 5:10, "But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you."

The Apostle Peter knew of what he was writing about.  He knew about the many challenges that life brings us.  These difficulties have a great purpose and they only last for awhile.  There is a promise in this verse that the grace of God NEVER runs out!

I am thankful that the grace of God is available to us anytime we need it.  Some days we will need more of it than others.  There are seasons of life where God is moulding us and making us to be more like Christ.  This process isn't always easy, but there is His all sufficient grace to carry us through.
