Our Scripture reading today is Mark 14:6-9.
Verse 8 - "...she hath done what she could."
This is a day when full commitment to the Lord Jesus is vital. Our concentration should not be on what we cannot do for Him, but CAN we do! He is worthy of our surrendered life. The woman referred to in this verse poured out the ointment as a way of showing her love and honour. When we yield our lives to Him, we are not wasting anything. In fact, to lose our life is to gain it. (See Mark 8:35).
A yielded life is a life that will consistently be pointing others to worship at the feet of our King! Take some time today to ask yourself, "Is my life fully surrendered to the Lord Jesus?"
