Our Scripture reading today is 1 Corinthians 10:31, "Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God."
Once again the timing of the Lord God is amazing. Just a few minutes ago, I read Daniel 5. God's Word speaks about a king by the name of Belshazzar. He was carrying on in verse 23 and did not and really could not give God the glory. He even knew better due to the example of his father, King Nebuchadnezzar. Later that night, Belshazzar was killed and his kingdom taken by the Medes and the Persians. It is worth your reading.
There is a clear emphasis on the importance of living our lives in such a way that we can give God the glory. Can we give God the glory for _________? We should be living in such a way that whatever we do, it will bring Him glory. He has done so much for us. Our salvation alone is reason to say "No" to the flesh and say "Yes" to the Spirit! Give Him glory today!
