Our Scripture reading today is Proverbs 1:10, "My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not."
We are not able to determine when and if temptation will come our way. We should be ready for temptation by filling our minds with the Word of God. Psalm 119:11, "Thy word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against thee." This will enable us to say no when sinners come with enticement to do wrong. Once we determine who will attempt to lead us into sin, we need to do our best to avoid them. There are many people today who have walked away from Lord because of the company that they keep. It is easy to tell a lot about someone by the friendships that they have. We should spend time with people who build us up spiritually.
