Our Scripture reading today is Zechariah 4:6, "Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts."
The work of the LORD needs more than our human strengths and abilities. We can only go so far witb what we have to offer. I'm thankful the war has been won. There is a daily battle with the prince and power of the air and can only be won in the strength of God's Spirit.
It is very important that we use the armour of God (Ephesians 6) that He provided. If applied, we have everything we need to be an overcomer. The Spirit of God combined with the armour of God will give us the spiritual ability to withstand the wiles of the devil.
