Our Scripture reading today is Philippians 1:25-27.
Verse 27, "Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;"
It is very important that our life is lived in such a way that it alone will point people to Jesus Christ.  What I mean by that is that if I were tell someone I was a Christian, it should not surprise them at all.  Our lifestyle or conversation as Paul puts it should be making the Gospel look good.  A statement I heard over and over again at Bible college: "Your walk talks and your talk talks, but your walk talks louder than your talk talks."  I think that can be translated, "Practice what you preach."  If we want to make a difference for Jesus Christ in this sin sick world, we need to practice before we even preach.  The Christian life is to be lived from the inside out.  As we allow the Holy Spirit to change us inwardly every day, outwardly our witness will be much more effective.  Our life should be filled with so much evidence that we are a Christian. This happens long before we actually tell someone we are one.
