Our Scripture reading today is Ephesians 4:14-15.
Verse 15, "But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:"
We have an opportunity most days to be children of God who share Bible truth with others. Imagine if everyone who claims to be a born again Christian would look for ways to "speak the truth in love". There is no doubt that this would result in thousands upon thousands of people turning to Jesus Christ for salvation. Why wouldn't someone who has the truth share it?
The reason why the cat gets my tongue and I am sure it gets yours too is because of pride. We are too concerned about what others will think of us. Pride leads to the fear of man and then we don't offer the Gospel tract. Instead of delivering the truth, we have retreated in fear. The cure for this is dying to self. Self will always get in the way of speaking the truth. Die to self today and look for the God given opportunities to speak the truth!
