Our Scripture reading today is Acts 1:14, "These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren."
There is an emphasis here and in other passages of Scripture about the early church spending time praying together. It is an emphasis that we should take note of and find as many opportunities as possible to pray together. We have added twelve monthly prayer meetings in 2025. I would like to encourage you to make these meetings a part of your schedule. We have already met two times and they were both used mightily by the LORD. Our church also gathers together for our weekly prayer meeting at 10am on Saturdays. Is there anyway you could start joining us for this very important meeting? I remember reading one time that every failure is a prayer failure. I am sure we could all spend more time in private and corporate prayer.
