Our Scripture reading today is 1 Corinthians 1:18, "For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God."
Every follower of Jesus Christ needs to hear Bible preaching on a regular basis. There will be a hunger and thirst to hear God's Word preached. I make it a point to try and listen to at least 2-3 sermons per week. I need it as part of my continually growing in grace. God's Word makes it clear that we all need it and it provides us with some spiritual nourishment. We are provided with power to live the Christian life. Anyway we can get more of the Word of God into us, the better prepared for life we will be.
