Our Scripture reading today is Proverbs 29:1, "He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy."
Two days in a row, God has reminded us of Scripture verses from the Sunday morning Bible message. If you use the YouVersion App, Monday's verse of the day was in Matthew regarding the broad way and narrow way. Now, we come once agsin to this sobering verse in Proverbs that was used right at the end the message on Sunday morning. How many more times will God allow you to say "No" to Him? The final time will come and you will not be given a warning. God will not force anyone to receive Him or follow His will. These and other choices must be made with our free will. The wise Christian aligns his or her will with God's will. In the end, making this decision will lead to greater success and a prosperous life.
I am greatly concerned for some who continue to harden their neck and who are seemingly facing no chastisement or correction from God. They need to be saved! They need to humble themselves and turn to God.
