Our Scripture reading today is Ephesians 2:14, "For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;"
What an encouraging reminder...Jesus Christ IS our peace! He made peace with God for us by sacrificially dying on the cross for our sins, but He is also our continual, daily peace. While the world is filled with fear, our Saviour made it possible that we might be filled with peace.
Philippians 4:7, 9, "And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you."
Colossians 3:15, "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful."
Romans 15:13, "Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost."
We can rest in His arms of peace today!
