Our Scripture reading today is Luke 24:5-8.
Verse 7, "Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again."
The Lord Jesus had to go through this so sinners like you and me could be redeemed and on our way to Heaven someday. We have eternal life because of the provision that was made through Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection. Jesus Christ lives and so can anyone who humbly turns to Him and receives Him as their personal Saviour. Christ is all we need!
