Our Scripture reading today is Galatians 2:20, "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."
Think about that last phrase of this challenging and encouraging verse of Scripture - "...and gave himself for me". The sinless Saviour gave Himself for every sinner that is born. He gave Himself that we might have joy unspeakable and full of glory. He gave Himself that we might live eternally. As we meditate on all that we have because He gave Himself, we ought to be willing to live our lives fully for Him. We ought to be sacrificially give of our treasure, time, and talents. He loved us so much that He gave everything. What have you given to the Lord to show your love for Him?
