In June of 2001, Pastor Ben Turner held Anchor Baptist Church's first service in Burnaby, British Columbia. Starting with a crowd of 23 people, the Lord has used Pastor Turner to plant this work in the Greater Vancouver area for His honour and glory. Anchor Baptist Church has grown into a family of believers who seek to honour and lift up the Lord! Pastor Ben Turner and his wife Becky are blessed with three children: Caleb, Brianna, and Emma.
