Our Scripture reading today is Revelation 22:17.
"And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely."
There is a spiritual "thirst" in every man and woman that can only be quenched by the life giving water provided in and through Jesus Christ. When the Lord Jesus spoke to the Samaritan woman in John 4:14, He said, "But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life."
The devil offers many other temporal thirst quenchers. The problem with what he offers is they do not quench the thirst. No amount of alcohol and drugs will be enough. No amount of money or material possessions will satisfy the thirst. In fact, what the devil is offering to quench the thirst of the lost will eventually lead to their destruction. They will die thirsty and spend eternity in the lake of fire.
Lanny Wolfe wrote a song entitled, Only Jesus Can Satisfy Your Soul.
If you could have the fame and fortune all the wealth you could obtain,
Yet you have not Christ within your living here would be in vain;
There'll come a time when death shall call you, riches can not help you then,
So come to Jesus for He can satisfy.

For only Jesus can satisfy your soul.
If your thirst has already been quenched by the Water of life, it is time to offer this Water to others.
