Our Scripture reading today is Proverbs 11:3, "The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them."
Everyone needs guidance. It would be better to say that everyone needs the right kind of guidance. There is plenty of guidance in our social media world that will bring about eventual destruction. What we need is guidance that leads us to follow the ways of God and His Word. Our verse for today admonishes us to receive guidance from the upright. This is someone who lives a trustworthy life without shame or reproach.
Where or from whom are we receiving our guidance or counsel? It is our choice who we allow to have influence over lives. It would behoove us to seek the Lord's leading in this matter.
