Our Scripture reading today is Matthew 5:14-16.
Verse 16, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."
We have a light to shine due to the fact that it is a light we were given from the Lord. Our responsibility is to keep our lamps (life) clean so the light of Jesus will shine forth brightly to a lost world in need of hope. This will bring more glory to our heavenly Father. What a privilege it is to shine forth for Christ.
