Our Scripture reading today is Ephesians 5:16, "Redeeming the time, because the days are evil."
We are to take advantage of every opportunity we have to live in such a way that our lives bring glory to God. The same word for "time" is translated "opportunity" in Galatians 6:10. "As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith." Did you miss a time this week when you could have spoke to someone about the Gospel? It is time to redeem it the next time God brings someone across your path. The days will always evil so it is imperative that we make the most out of every day we have for the glory of God.
