Our Scripture reading today is 1 Samuel 7:8-9.
Verse 9, "And Samuel took a sucking lamb, and offered it for a burnt offering wholly unto the LORD: and Samuel cried unto the LORD for Israel; and the LORD heard him."
Samuel brought the needs of Israel before the LORD and He heard him. Who needs you to pray for them today? Who needs you to go before the LORD on their behalf? The battles of life are typically won in our time of prayer. Before we even face the challenges of life, our prayer time is vitally important to prepare us for whatever is just around the corner. There are no doubt numerous people that we know who need us to go before the LORD on their behalf. Take some extra time today bringing their needs to the LORD.
