Our Scripture reading today is Hebrews 13:14-16.
Verse 15, "By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name."
The attitude of every child of God ought to be one of continual praise and thanksgiving. Our Heavenly Father has provided everything we need. He is constantly proving His love by giving. Every day we have reason to give Him thanks. Every day we have reason to sing praises to His name. 1 Timothy 6:17, "Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;"
Job reminds us that when everything comes crashing down, we still should praise Him. Job 1:21, "And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD."

All praise to God who reigns above
In majesty supreme,
Who gave His Son for all to die,
That He might man redeem!
