Our Scripture reading today is Psalm 9:9, "The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble."
We have a place of shelter that will protect us from each and every storm that comes our way. The LORD is most definitely our shelter in the time of storm. In Him, we have a place of peace and assurance. In Him, we have an abundance of blessings.
The psalmist makes an assertive statement in this verse, "The LORD...WILL be..." This promise is one we can claim today! We have an ever present help in time of need. The LORD is faithful and will not leave us to fend for ourselves. I would like to encourage you to turn in your Bibles to Psalm 46 and read this short chapter two times. God is good!
