Of His Own Accord He Went Unto You

Today's Scripture reading is 2 Corinthians 8:16-18.

Verse 17 - "...being more forward, of his own accord he went unto you."

Titus is described as someone who of his own free will, chose to be a help to the churches.  He was genuinely concerned with helping to meet the needs of the people of God.  Titus saw something needed to be done and he did something about it.  I remember hearing someone say, "See the need; take the lead."  Titus recognized there was something he could do to be a help and he move forward.  This may be a little more difficult to do in our current daily life.  However, if we are on the look out for someone in need, we will find them.  If we are praying for who needs help, God will lead us to that family or individual.  Seek to be a blessing and encouragement to someone today!
