Today's Scripture reading is Luke 15:5-7.
Verse 7, "...joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth,"
Our Scripture passage goes right along with the Anchor of Hope broadcast from yesterday. What is God emphasizing to us? It is quite clear that the family of God must be urgent in the matter of giving out the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ. There is no other hope for fallen man to be redeemed. We have the cure for the curse (Romans 5:12) of sin. We have the truth thats set people free. (John 17:17)
Several years ago, we had has our theme - Now is the Time! As we come to the close of another month, now is the time to get serious about sharing the Gospel with friends and family. Now is the time to attach a digital tract to an encouraging email. Now is the time to continue to invite family and friends to the livestream services. Now is the time to pray for lost souls to be humbled when they hear God's message of salvation.
Let's do our best to stir up a joy party in Heaven!
