Our Scripture reading today is Isaiah 49:23, "And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee with their face toward the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me."
The mightiest of the mighty will all bow their knees to the LORD Jesus. The greatest of the great will be humbled before the King of Kings. Those who have repented of their sin and by faith received Jesus Christ as Saviour are waiting for His return. We have already bowed our knee in humility. There was a day when we realized our sinful condition and Who could deliver us from the wrath that was to come.
It is our honour and privilege to be an ambassador for our King. Every day we live there are opportunities to deliver the message we have already received, A message of hope and freedom that only come through the Gospel. Jesus Christ has defeated death, hell and the grave. We have a message of victory to share with those whom God leads our way. To God be all the glory!
