Our Scripture reading today is Matthew 7:1-2.
Verse 2, "For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again."
We were not prohibited from judging but we were to judge knowing we would be judged in the same way. It is proper to judge based on the Word of God. Our lives should be a good testimony within our family and our community. God's Word is the standard by which we should judge others as well as live our lives. " God will measure unto us according to the same measure we use for others. This is a powerful motivation for us to be generous with love, forgiveness, and goodness to others. If we want more of those things from God, we should give more of them to others."
