Our Scripture reading today is Hebrews 11:1, 6.
Verse 1, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
Our life this side of Heaven was designed by God to be lived by faith. We cannot see what God is going to do, but by faith, we believe it will be for our good and His glory. Just like a muscle, faith is strengthened as it is exercised. God has specific ways for each of us that He uses to increase and strengthen our faith. Challenging times and trials are meant to draw us closer to the Lord. If we respond properly, they will exercise and increase our faith.
