Our Scripture reading today is Hebrews 11:8-10.
Verse 8, "By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went."
Abraham was willing to leave what was familiar for something that was unfamiliar. The directions were quite vague, but he still went out. His faith moved him to follow the plan of God. It all boiled down to Abraham's obedience.
We do not have to know everything in order to obey what God tells us to do. By faith, we should follow whatever instructions we are given. Obedience still shows God that we believe. Obedience also is an indication that we love God. Listen for that still small voice today and obey!
