Our Scripture reading today is Romans 12:1, "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service."
A challenge is given by the Apostle Paul to the Roman Christians. He is literally begging them to surrender their lives to the service of the Lord. This challenge has also applied to all Christians in every generation. There is a need for the followers of Jesus Christ to dedicate their time on Earth to live in such a way that pleases Him. It is imperative that we live holy lives. This will only take place when we die to self and seek to be filled with the Spirit. 1 Corinthians 15:31, "I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily."
This presentation of our life to the Lord will happen time and time again. Are you surrendered to His will for your life?
