Our Scripture reading today is Proverbs 14:5, "A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness will utter lies."
A character quality that we should all strive to be known by is telling the truth. Are you known as being a faithful witness? It is easy to tell the truth when it is in our favour. Telling the truth can be more challenging when it seemingly goes against us. The principle from our text today is pretty clear. We are either a faithful witness or a false witness. Which one are you?
James 3:14, "But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth."
